Katie moved to Colorado in 2011 after teaching ECE-12th grade art for five years in New York State. She earned her BFA from Alfred University and her Masters in Education from Walden University. Katie enjoys working with her students outside of her art room coaching the Girls on the Run Program, working with Centennials running club and facilitating multiple after school Art Clubs. When she is not at school, Katie enjoys coaching CrossFit and gymnastics, running, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, sewing, drawing and adventuring in the sunshine.
