Nicole (Nic) Savinar is a Colorado native. She, her husband, her two sons and her black lab Chauncey call the Highlands home. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She then attended the University of Phoenix to complete her Master’s degree in Elementary Education and then onto Regis to complete her Linguistically Diverse Education Master’s degree. She is a lifelong learner who jumps at opportunities to grow and evolve as a person and an educator. This is her ninth year being a part of Centennial’s CREW. Nic’s oldest son Owen is a kindergartener here at Centennial. Nic’s favorite part about teaching is building relationships with her students, their families, and the community. She believes that she can make a difference in the lives of her students by fostering creativity, developing character, and having the mindset that all students can succeed. She is a diehard Broncos and Buffs fan! During her free time, Nic enjoys traveling, running, skiing, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends and family.
