Library Mission Statement

The Centennial K-8 Library will strive to be an integral part of the instructional program, dedicated to providing our school community with the best possible resources and services.

Goals of the Library

Our goal is for the Centennial K-8 library is to offer opportunities for experiences in creating and using information for knowledge, understanding, imagination and enjoyment.  In addition we will strive to develop and sustain in children the habit and enjoyment of reading and learning, and the use of libraries throughout their lives.

Notes:
--The DPS Lion system is very useful for finding library books either in
our school or other nearby schools.  Online databases are available through Lion, but students must know their ID # (lunch number).

Denver Public Library--you must have a Library Card to use the services, but a temporary card can be gotten online.

Amazon.com is a book seller, but they have about every book ever published.
