Literacy Fellows

The four Literacy Fellows now housed at Centennial will provide daily, 45-minute literacy tutoring to students in grades K-3 who have been identified as below- grade level readers in need of extra reading support. Each literacy fellow will work with students in groups no bigger than 4, and will use the Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) curriculum to support reading growth and acceleration. We are thrilled that we have this amazing resource at our school to support our students and help them become life-long readers!

This year, the Literacy Fellows have two returning and two new fellows. We have added elements to our curriculum and expect to see major growth among our students in the 2016 – 2017 school year. We see students daily for 45 minutes of instruction in reading, word work, and writing.

Happy Reading!
