5000 New Books for Centennial

On August 28th Centennial will be receiving 5000 new books for our library. This generous gift is being made possible by KPMG and their Sponsorship of LPGA golfer Stacy Lewis. The challenge was, if Stacy Lewis won the British Open, then KPMG would donate 5000 books to Centennial’s library. And on August 4th, Stacy won the British Open which means 5000 new books for our library.

ECE 3: School Choice

Because ECE3 at Centennial was not an active program when the School Choice forms went out in December, the choice of ECE 3 at Centennial wasn’t included in the first round lottery process that concluded March 1st. However, they do have all the received applications in their system and will be holding a separate lottery just for ECE 3 at Centennial towards the end of this month. Look for letters with the results by April. Call DPS Choice and Enrollment Services 720-424-2639 if you have questions.

Redesign Update

Following last week’s Board of Education meeting, there have been many questions about where we are in the redesign process. I want to assure you that the plan is continuing as approved. The Board of Education has not taken any action to reverse its previous approval of our redesign, and we have the full support of DPS leadership. I remain as confident and committed as ever to bringing into reality the vision that our CSC and school leadership developed over the past several months for the new Centennial School.
